The Dental Scaler removes stains, plaque and tartar, while the Dental Pick removes obstructions from between teeth. For added assistance, we've included a mirror for those hard-to-see spots. Dental Scaler Instructions: Hold the pick so that the top of the curve is flat against the tooth. Gently pull away from the gum line toward the biting edge of each tooth.

Dental Pick Instructions: Start at the gum line between the teeth and gently pull the pick away from the gum line to remove the impacted food.

Caution: For adult use only. Follow instructions carefully. Certain elements found in dental plaque may cause clotting and an increased risk of heart disease in some people. Regularly rinse mouth thoroughly during use. Do not swallow material removed. If bleeding of the gums occurs, stop and consult your dentist. For additional instructions consult your dentist.

"ever since i had braces i notice that there is stains between my teeth even after i brush my teeth. so i will use it to scrape out the stuff in between. i just wish that it had covers for it so that it will keep clean and safe. "

"Mirror is extremely poor quality -- it is NOT an actual mirror, but rather a very thin piece of silver plastic. It doesn't last more than one usage without developing permanent spots, streaks, and discolorations. Fogs easily, and moisture from breath causes the finish to break down easily and get spotted. Even if you try to just wipe dust off the mirror, the pressure of anything touching the mirror will cause it to develop spots, marks, and streaks. Very disappointed! Don't even think about wetting it to try to clean it off; the results will be even worse."

"THis product is wonderful. It has worked to rmove calculus from my betweein my teetg. Regular plaque as well but caution u must find a groove or a rhythm. Watch their video. I jabbed myself lightly twice, otherwise there was no bleeding just removal of calculus and more from my teeth. If you get it study it first then use and it will be effective. I am sooooo happy."

"I have used this Scaler for several years - it works very well - BUT IT IS DESIGNED TO BREAK AT THE NARROW PART OF THE HANDLE, so I find my self buying a new one, with the unneeded mirror & pick, every few months. Designed failure is not a good characteristic! :("
